The Invacare Softform Premier Original Waterproof Mattress has been uniquely designed to combat subjecting the skin to pressure and shear forces, both of which contribute to the development of pressure ulcers, whilst also delivering exceptional levels of comfort.
The mattress features a unique contoured insert pad, constructed from castellated foam. This conforms to movement and body position, whilst redistributing any pressure. No glue has been used in the construction of the mattress, which allows for better conformity and air flow between the castellations.
The high specification foam is ideal for those classed as 'Very High Risk' of developing pressure ulcers.
The mattress cover is a two-way stretch waterproof polyurethane with welded seams in addition to a full-length flap which conceals the zip. These features together effectively protect the mattress from fluids, as well as increased longevity and economic replacement costs.
Maximum washing temperature: 80 degrees.
